SEO plugin importer for 10 pluginsSwitch SEO plugins without starting over.
AgentedSEO reads the SEO data already on your site, shows you what will come across, and imports it as one batch. Your old plugin’s data stays untouched, and the whole import undoes in one click.

The old plugin’s data was never touched. Going back means reactivating it.
Try it: run the import, then undo the whole batch.
“I don’t think the fear of losing years of titles and settings should be the reason anyone stays on an SEO plugin. One Reddit reply put that fear plainly: ‘Changing Yoast can remove keywords and other things and you have to do it again. So keep using Yoast.’ I’d rather you pick a plugin for what it does. So the importer reads your old data, leaves it where it was, and lets you put everything back in one click if you change your mind.”

What does not come across

- Cornerstone or pillar flagsFrom any of the 10.
noimageindexand a few rare robots tagsFrom any of the 10.- Schema set on single postsAgentedSEO’s schema defaults for each post type cover those pages.
From Rank Math only: the strip category base setting. Category URLs go back to /category/ after the switch unless you turn on Advanced › Strip category base.
Preview it, import it, and undo it if you change your mind.
Changed your mind? Undo the batch from the change log in one click. Any value you edited after the import stays as you wrote it, and everything else goes back.
Got an agent connected? It can find the old plugin and run the same import over MCP, as a dry run first, so you see the counts per field, the conflicts and the skips before anything is written.
- 01
Install AgentedSEO next to the plugin you use now.
While both are active, we print nothing in the page head and show a notice instead, so search engines never see two sets of tags.
- 02
Open the importer.
The setup wizard offers it on first run. It finds which SEO plugins left data on the site and runs a dry run: how many values each field would get, where values clash, and what it will skip.
- 03
Keep or overwrite.
If a page already has an AgentedSEO value, you choose whether the import keeps it or replaces it.
- 04
Import.
Everything lands as one batch in the change log, marked as an import, with the time next to it.
- 05
Switch the old plugin off.
We offer to deactivate it for you. Nothing is deleted from it, so going back means reactivating it.
Your redirects come with you too.
- From the Redirection plugin: the importer brings its redirects into our redirect manager.
- From Yoast, Rank Math, Slim SEO and SEOPress: upload their redirect CSV export as it is. Up to 1 MB and 5,000 rows a file, and the upload undoes like any other batch.
- From anywhere else: our redirect manager imports and exports CSV, and refuses redirect loops and chains when they are saved.
- Running Classic Monks too? We make both, so AgentedSEO syncs redirects with it and can import its 404 log into the 404 monitor, which shows the broken URLs people actually hit.
After the switch, changing a published post’s slug adds the 301 for you.
Moving a lot of client sites? Copy your setup across.
Set up one site the way you like it, then export the settings as one file. Import that file on the next site and start from your setup instead of from zero.
Files are capped at 2 MB and 5,000 redirects.
Questions about switching SEO plugins.
Nobody can promise rankings, and we won’t. What we can do is keep each page saying the same things to search engines: the same titles, descriptions, canonicals, robots settings and redirects. After the import, run the site check, which lists anything missing or broken in plain language with a fix.
SEO and readability scores, cornerstone or pillar flags, noimageindex and a few other rare robots tags, and schema set on single posts, because AgentedSEO’s schema defaults for each post type cover those pages. From Rank Math, the strip category base setting doesn’t come across, so turn on Advanced › Strip category base to keep your category URLs. Any setting with no match is listed as a note.
No. We only read it. The old data stays where it was, so you can reactivate your old plugin at any time.
Yes. While another SEO plugin is active, we print nothing in the page head until you switch over, so nothing doubles up. When you are ready, AgentedSEO can also strip the other plugin’s SEO output.
Your edits stay. Undo puts back only the values the import wrote that nobody has changed since.
Our FAQ schema reads the Yoast and Rank Math FAQ blocks already in your posts, so the questions you wrote keep their FAQ schema.
Yes. It can find which plugin left data on the site and run the import as a dry run first. You see the counts per field, the conflicts and the skips, then decide.
Export your redirects as CSV and import those, then tell me which plugin you use. I add importers when people ask for them. Tell me which plugin
