AgentedSEO demo: a WordPress sandbox for 24 hoursLet your agent loose on a site where nothing is at stake.

Not ready to give an agent write access to a client’s live site? Your AgentedSEO sandbox is a real WordPress admin: connect Claude, Cursor, Codex or Hermes, watch its changes wait for your approval, and undo any of them in one click.

We’ll email you the admin URL and a one-click login link. The sandbox is yours for 24 hours.

Don’t run your agent’s first job on a client’s live site.

If you look after client sites, you already follow the rule one agency developer put on Reddit:

“we don’t let agents touch production at all, staging only. even then we snapshot before the agent runs and diff the changes after.”

He’s right, and I’d tell you the same. Another developer put the reason plainly: “on live sites the risk surface is too big when you’re responsible for someone else’s business.” It also means building a staging copy, taking a snapshot and comparing changes by hand before you even know whether the tool is any good.

The sandbox skips that step.

You get a throwaway WordPress site with AgentedSEO on it. Connect your agent, give it a real job, and see what it proposes, what waits for you and what one click puts back. If it does something you don’t like, nothing that matters was touched.

Log in to a real WordPress admin with AgentedSEO installed and posts waiting.

Click the link in your email and you land in the WordPress admin, signed in. AgentedSEO is installed, there are sample posts to work on, and the Connections screen is ready for your agent. Your 24 hours start with the work, not the set-up.

Waiting when you log in

  • WordPress with AgentedSEO installed and active, on its own throwaway site.
  • Sample posts to work on, so your agent has real content to read, describe and mark up.
  • AgentedSEO › Agents › Connections, with two ways to Connect an agent: a custom connector for Claude.ai, or a desktop or code app.
  • The Setup checklist on the AgentedSEO Dashboard, with progress per section, if you’d rather click through first.
  • Nothing to download or install on your side: a browser, and your agent if you have one.

From 3 pages a month to 12 with an agent, on my own sites.

I tested an agent doing SEO on 10 of my own WordPress sites over 90 days. Published pages went from 3 to 12 a month, and the time I spent went from 6 hours a month to 1.5. That was my test, not a customer’s result.

What I still couldn’t see at a glance was what the agent had changed. AgentedSEO is my answer to that: every change shown first, logged with a name and a time, and one click from undone.

Then I asked the Classic Monks community how it should ship. 34 people voted, and 64% said make it a separate plugin.

I wouldn’t hand an agent a client’s site on someone’s word either. Try it here first, on a site that doesn’t matter, before you trust it on one that does.

Seven tasks to try in your 24 hours.

Task 1 of 7

Task 1 of your AgentedSEO demo: connect your agent with its own login.

Your agent signs in as its own WordPress user with a limited SEO role, never as you. Claude.ai signs in with OAuth, so no password gets pasted anywhere. Desktop and code apps get an application password made for them.

  • Claude.ai: copy your site’s connector URL and add it as a custom connector. No password.
  • Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Hermes: choose Desktop or code app, name the agent, click Create password and paste the config the screen fills in for you.
  • Click Run test under Test the connection. It checks what an agent outside your site sees, so you know the connection works before you blame the agent.
  • Step-by-step guides for Claude, Cursor, Codex and Hermes sit in the docs.

Task 2 of 7

Task 2: watch your agent’s changes wait in Approvals before anything goes live.

Ask for meta descriptions and the agent’s edits arrive as proposals, not live changes. You read the old value next to the new one, with the checks each one passed, and you decide.

  • Meta titles and descriptions ask first by default. You can change that area by area on Agents › Approval rules.
  • Approve one. Reject another and type a reason: the reason goes back to the agent, and the change log records who approved what.
  • Proposals from one agent request arrive grouped, and you can approve or reject up to 100 at once.

Write meta descriptions for every post that doesn’t have one. Show me the preview first.

Every change is logged with who made it, when and how, and can be undone.

Task 3 of 7

Task 3: undo your agent’s work after the chat is closed.

Every change is logged with who made it, the agent or you, when, and how. Put back one change, then the agent’s whole batch, then bring it back with Redo. A bad run costs a click, not a backup restore.

  • Open a row’s Details and click Undo: the Before value comes back.
  • On a batch, undo every change in it with one click.
  • The undo is logged too, and Redo applies the change again.
  • Or let the agent clean up with the prompt on the right.

Task 4 of 7

Task 4: see what a switch from your old SEO plugin would move.

AgentedSEO imports from 10 SEO plugins, and every import is previewed first and undone as one batch. Check what would come across from yours before you buy.

  • The table lists Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO, SEOPress, The SEO Framework, SmartCrawl, Squirrly, SureRank, SiteSEO and Slim SEO, with what moves from each: titles, descriptions, keywords, canonicals, robots, social, redirects and schema.
  • When a plugin’s data is on the site, Preview shows counts per field and any conflicts before anything is written. You choose to keep or overwrite values a page already has.
  • The importer reads data stored on the same site, so it can’t reach your live site from the sandbox. Redirect CSV exports from Yoast, Rank Math, SEOPress and Slim SEO import too, and undo in one click.
  • The full importer table, plugin by plugin, is on the Switch page.

No prompt needed: this one is a click-through.

Batch undo for imports.

Task 5 of 7

Task 5: add FAQ schema and see it checked before it saves.

Your agent’s schema is validated before it can be saved, and the post’s Schema tab shows exactly what the page prints. No more pasting from a generator and hoping.

  • Schema asks first by default, and the proposal shows the result of the check.
  • After you approve, open the post in the block editor, then the SEO drawer’s Schema tab, then Printed on the page: the types in the page’s graph and where each one comes from.
  • View printed JSON-LD shows the code itself, and a link opens Google’s Rich Results Test for the page.
  • Validation covers 22 schema types, FAQ included.

Prompt to copy

Add FAQ schema to one of the sample posts, with three questions a reader would ask. Show me the preview first.

Task 6 of 7

Task 6: try to break the rules and watch the SEO Agent role hold.

Ask for one thing the role doesn’t allow and one thing that always needs you. The first goes nowhere, the second waits for you, and the activity log keeps the record. Test the limits here before you trust them on a site that matters.

  • The SEO Agent role can’t touch users, plugins, themes or header and footer code. It has no tool for that, and the rest of WordPress refuses its login.
  • robots.txt edits always wait in Approvals, whatever your approval rules say. So do noindex, trashing and unpublishing.
  • The activity log lists every request, refused attempts included, and exports to CSV.
  • Approving isn’t an agent tool. Only a person approves, and on the sandbox that person is you.
  • Done testing? Revoke the agent from the Connections screen in one click.

Install a contact form plugin on this site. Then add a line to robots.txt that blocks /private/.

robots.txt edits, noindex, trash and deletes always ask first.

Task 7 of 7

Task 7: no agent yet? Try it as a complete SEO plugin.

Everything your agent can do, you can do from the dashboard. Judge AgentedSEO as the plugin that would replace your current one, even if you never connect an agent.

  • The site check explains each problem in plain language with a stable code, and offers a one-click Fix where the fix is a setting.
  • Bulk fixes › Titles & descriptions: edit the titles and descriptions of many posts on one screen.
  • Open a post in the block editor: the SEO drawer has SEO, Social, Schema and Advanced tabs.
  • The setup wizard and the Setup checklist cover everything else, section by section.

Questions people ask before they try AgentedSEO.

Yes, that’s what it’s for. Open AgentedSEO › Agents › Connections. Claude.ai adds your site as a custom connector with no password; Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Hermes use a password the screen creates for them. Click Run test first: it tells you whether anything between your agent and the site is getting in the way. The docs have a guide for each agent. Open the connection guides

Request the sandbox and click through it. Run the site check on the Issues screen, fix titles in bulk, open the SEO drawer in the block editor and try an import preview. Task 7 above walks through it. Go to task 7

Your agent runs on your own Claude, Cursor or Codex account, or your own Hermes setup, the same as on your own site. AgentedSEO sells no AI credits, so there’s nothing to buy from us to run the tasks.

It can write drafts and edit posts. New posts always start as drafts, and edits to live posts and publishing wait in Approvals by default. Try it: ask for a draft about WordPress redirects, then approve the publish yourself.

It’s AgentedSEO on a real WordPress install, not a video or a mock-up. The one part you won’t find switched on is Search Console: it’s built and coming soon, for every site at once.

Not straight from your live site. The importer reads another SEO plugin’s data stored on the same site, so it has nothing to read from yours. You can see what it would move from each of the 10 plugins it supports, and redirect CSV exports from Yoast, Rank Math, SEOPress and Slim SEO import directly.

It’s used to set up your sandbox and send you its login. The privacy policy has the details under Sandbox Request. Read the privacy policy

The sandbox expires. If you want AgentedSEO on your own sites, the Early Adopter Lifetime runs until 1 December, 23:59 PT, with a 15-day refund (80% back). And if a licence ever lapses, your SEO output, data and undo keep working. See the licences

Give your agent a day on a site that doesn’t matter.
